Details:	This beautiful location is known as Natural Bridge and features a stunning waterfall that flows through a naturally formed hole down into a very dark cave. I had wanted to shoot Natural Bridge for many years however the conditions were never ideal when I was in the area. It is extremely challenging to photograph for a number of reasons. Firstly, the location is deep in a valley so light only comes down through the waterfall at certain times of the day. Secondly, regardless of the time of day and conditions, there is always a massive difference in light between the outdoor area and inside the cave which is pitch black once you enter. I spent a couple of hours playing with different compositions and settled on this one as my favourite. Because of the technical challenges with the light, when I left I wasn't sure if my shots would turn out. Luckily I had nothing to worry about, when I got my film processed I had achieved the beautiful silhouette effect that I had hoped for.
