Details:	Bondi Beach is a challenging place to photograph. As one of Australia's most famous landmarks, it's usually crawling with people at all times of the day. I have re-visited Bondi many times over a number of years with no success. This particular morning in early 2013, I was in Sydney for a private exhibition I was holding at the Museum of Contemporary Arts. I rose from bed at 5AM in my Coogee Hotel room and headed straight to Bondi Beach. When I arrived the beach was already busy with locals doing their morning exercise regimes. I headed down to the water and waited for the sunrise to begin. I could see a storm in the distance with heavy rain out at sea. As the sun rose, the storm cloud began to glow a magnificent pink colour. I waited patiently for a few seconds while some joggers ran through my composition. Right on cue, a wave followed afterwards and cleaned up their footprints - perfect! The moment was now, I sprang into action and captured this serene photograph. I had finally nailed a stunning photograph of the elusive Bondi Beach.
