This stunning scene was captured on Nacula Island, the second northernmost island in the Yasawa Islands, Fiji. During our stay here, I revisited this scene at sunrise and sunset every day for 4 days.
When I arrived on location this particular evening I could see a big storm about to hit. Never one to give up, I decided to setup my gear where I wanted it and then sat next to it and opened my umbrella to protect my gear.
I sat in pouring rain for half an hour in the hope of the storm passing before the sunset and some magic light appearing. I was tempted to get under the shelter but had to avoid footprints in my scene.
My constant prayers while waiting paid off and just as the storm passed some very unique light appeared in the sky allowing me to capture this magic shot before it disappeared 30 seconds later.

For custom framed prints, Australia wide delivery generally takes 6-8 weeks and International delivery time takes 8-10 weeks.
