Our brand new Mooloolaba Gallery on the Sunshine Coast is now open for trading!

We are proud to announce the opening of our very first Queensland Gallery. The Mark Gray Gallery Mooloolaba is now open for trading on the Sunshine Coast.

Located at the north west end of the famous Mooloolaba Esplanade shopping strip in the Mantra Mooloolaba Beach building, the Mark Gray Gallery is Queensland's newest landscape photography gallery. It's the perfect setting to showcase Mark's inspiring award-winning collection of local, national and International landscape photography.

A huge thanks to everyone that was involved in building the gallery and printing and mounting all the artwork.

Mark wins the EPSON Digital Art Prize plus 2nd place in the highly regarded EPSON Pano Awards (Open: Nature)

2019 EPSON Digital Art Prize Enchantment Gold Award

Competing against almost 5000 entries from across the globe, Mark's multi award-winning 'Enchantment' limited edition print recently won the prestigious 2019 EPSON Digital Art Prize and received a highly regarded Gold Award while coming in at 2nd place (Runner Up) in the 'Open' Nature/Landscapes Category of the 2019 EPSON International Panoramic Awards. Another 2 of Mark's prints also received Bronze Awards.

Mark has now received a grand total of 213 International Awards to date.

Exciting News!!! A message of thanks to everyone that offered support & well wishes for our first ever entry in the 'FMP Excellence in Business Awards' 2014.

The results were delivered at a Gala Dinner earlier in the month and we are very pleased to announce that the Mark Gray Gallery won the 'Retail' category. This is truly a great honour as the awards are considered to be the highest possible level of achievement for all businesses in Frankston and on the Mornington Peninsula.

Mark, Suzy and the rest of the team attended the awards ceremony and with plenty to celebrate, it was a great night for all.

Mark invited to meet the Australian Prime Minister, the Hon. Tony Abbott MP

Mark was recently invited to meet the Australian Prime Minister at a notable event attended by over 540 people. The Hon. Tony Abbott MP greeted Mark and signed the back of his popular limited edition print – ‘Beckon’ #8/100 – shortly before it went to auction.

‘Beckon’ went under the hammer soon afterwards, selling for $3,600 AUD to a lucky collector.

In June of 2013, Mark released one of his most exclusive print releases to date - 'Astral Light', an amazing photograph of the extremely rare Aurora Australis (Southern Lights), viewed from as far north as the Mornington Peninsula in Victoria. Released in an edition of only 5 prints, only 9 months since the first edition was acquired for $5,000 - edition #5/5 has now sold for $21,500 to a Mornington Peninsula collector.

Mark's multi award-winning 'Reef Dreaming' limited edition print recently received a highly regarded Gold Award and ranked in 5th place in the 'Open' Nature Category of the 2012 EPSON International Panoramic Awards. Mark was the highest ranked Australian photographer in the 'Nature Category', competing against thousands of photographers from across the globe.

'Reef Dreaming' will feature in 'The 2012 EPSON International Pano Awards' print exhibition to be displayed in Melbourne at the end of May, 2012 at 'The Digital Show', Melbourne Exhibition Centre.

Mark's multi award-winning 'Sydney Splendour' limited edition print was recently selected to feature in the exclusive Medium Format Fine Art Prize Exhibition 2012. A 40 inch edition of 'Sydney Splendour' has now been printed and framed and will feature in the exhibition along with 30 other medium format prints from other photographers.

The travelling exhibition will visit Sofitel Hotel's across Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane and the Gold Coast. The exhibition will then travel to Hong Kong to feature in the July 2012 Creative Asia Photography Conference.

Tasmania trip is a huge success

Mark has now returned from his third photographic expedition to Tasmania. God answered many prayers and delivered ideal weather conditions for the entire week, allowing Mark to capture some stunning photographs. For those unaware, Victoria has just experienced our worst bushfires in history, in fact it's Australia's worst natural disaster ever recorded. Over 180 lives have been lost and over 750 homes destroyed leaving many people homeless and with nothing but the clothes on their backs.

Canon 5D Mark II

Mark picked up his brand new Canon 5D Mark II today, one of the most highly anticipated Digital SLR camera's of all time. With a huge array of features the new 5D has a full frame 21.1 megapixel sensor and also boasts HD Digital Video! According to one Melbourne camera store only around 70 of these camera's have been shipped into Australia so far with the next shipment expected around February 2009.


Today Tonight appearance


25th November 2008

During Mark's 2008 trip up north, he was contacted by Australian current affairs TV program 'Today Tonight' and asked to feature in a story about accommodation. Mark was more than happy to help out and while staying in Brisbane met up with a Channel 7 film crew to run through some experiences he has had booking accommodation during his travels around Australia. The story will air tonight at 6:45pm on Channel 7.


October photography trip

Mark Gray has now returned from his October trip shooting Australia's scenic east coast, mainly focusing on the beautiful beaches of Queensland & New South Wales. Stay tuned over the coming weeks for some stunning new print releases.


Oxygen film shoot


1st September 2008

Mark has just returned from an exciting trip to Mungo National Park in New South Wales where he was commissioned by a film producer to do the still photography for a science fiction film shoot. Directed by Dave Norris, the film was titled 'Oxygen' and featured scenes that were filmed in Mungo's strange lunettes (Walls Of China) and beautiful white sand dunes. During the shoot Mark was also able to get out early one morning while the rest of the crew were still asleep and captured a nice vertical panoramic photograph of a tall sand dune from the area where the film was shot.
