Further Workshop Testimonials
"Mark, I just wanted to say that I had a great time on the Desert Dreams photography workshop! It was fun meeting people with a similar interest and the locations were all great. Accommodation and food was also fantastic.
The value for money was excellent and I would have to say Uluru was my favourite location.
Aside from all that however, the absolute highlight of the trip for me was producing photos that I'm proud to show others. I feel more confident using my camera and applying appropriate settings in different situations but most of all I learnt a lot about composition. I'm really looking forward to taking great photos in the future.
The technical sessions were excellent – I really enjoyed the last session about getting the most from your photographic prints. Information about file format, colour profiles, monitor calibration and the different types of papers will make a huge difference to my post production work. Mark, your personal tuition at each location was very helpful – particularly helping me to get the composition right.
So overall, congratulations on a great job and I would also like to say thanks to Matt for being a great driver & assistant...

Workshop Testimonials
" Hi Mark, Thanks again to you and Matt for a really enjoyable Central Australia workshop.
The trip (and in fact, all your workshops) are excellent value for money. This trip more so because of the greater expenses incurred in the region. My favourite location was Kings Canyon and the highlight of the workshop was the great camaraderie experienced with the group.
The meals were first class and the technical sessions were excellent and helped me greatly.
Thanks again for a great trip and you'll see us again!"
- Mike Collier, QLD
" Hi Mark, Thanks again for a wonderful weekend workshop, I had a great time and I'm really pleased with some of my shots!!!
I enjoyed all the spots we visited and thanks to your forward planning everything went very smoothly. I was also impressed with the quality of the meals. Having travelled in the area before my expectations were not great but I could not fault any of the meals we had.
The on-location personal tuition was excellent! Although I am sure you must get tired of telling me the same things over and over again! I am now more confident however and set the camera to Manual much more frequently... although that does sometimes lead to interesting shots after I adjust the wrong dial!!
Take care, all the best and I look forward to seeing you in Merimbula next year. "
- Linda Herd, UK
" Hi Mark, thanks again for the Desert Dreams photography workshop, it was well worth every cent!
I had a terrific time! I enjoyed the whole event. Everything from meeting new and terrific people, to all the places we visited and photographed.
What a great experience. Would do it again. Outback Australia, what an amazing place. Thank you Mark and Matt for the opportunity and experience. "
