I was staying in the Grampians for a week on a solo photographic expedition in 2010 and discovered this fantastic view of Mt Sturgeon while researching locations to shoot. Mt Sturgeon is the southern most point of the magnificent Grampians mountain range. Later in the week, I saw great potential for a colourful sunset and knew immediately where to go. I arrived with plenty of time to spare and captured this incredible sunset looking out to Mt Sturgeon.
