Wallace's Hut is the oldest remaining cattlemen's hut in the Victorian highlands, originally built by cattlemen in 1889. Located a short way from Falls Creek Ski Resort, Wallace's Hut has stood the test of time, surrounded by twisted snow gums and still standing strong. If you have never experienced the Victorian highlands I would strongly recommend a visit. The alpine areas have a magnificent renewing effect on your soul!
